The Technology Collaboration Center has started planning for a 2019 Wearable Technologies Workshop, to be held on April 29 & 30, hosted by the NASA Johnson Space Center, using a format similar to the TCC's 2018 workshop.

A Challenge Program will be held the first day, when university student and startup teams will demonstrate their proof-of-concept prototypes addressing real world challenges from NASA Johnson Space Center and other organizations.

A Presentation Program will be held on the second day, with a broad range of cross-sector presentations on the latest advances and unmet challenges for wearable technologies.

More details on the time and location of the event will be posted soon.

For organizations and universities interested in participating in the Challenge Program:

  • Universities:  please complete the university registration form on this page, indicating you plan to participate in the 2019 Wearable Technologies Challenge Program, and how many teams you may send
  • Challenge Organizations:  organizations (companies, universities, government labs, …) that wish to submit a real-world wearable technologies challenge must download the Challenge Request form, and return it to the TCC (instructions are included in the form)

Please visit the 2018 Wearable Technologies Workshop page for information on the 2018 workshop, including the Challenge Program, or contact the TCC for more information.
